The Club District Allstars consists of a collective of Chicago bred talent. Including DJ, producer, songwriter and remix artist CZR, Malik a.k.a. Silk, a multi-platinum producer, songwriter, mc, singer, and visualist, & Vince Melo, dj, producer and remixer. All which were born and raised in the South Side of Chicago.
CZR, a House Music icon, has continuously had club success with heavy support from the worlds top rated DJ's, including Bad Boy Bill, Carl Cox, Daft Punk, & Erick Morillo, to name a few. Along with Billboard charting music to his credit, he has also remixed songs for Beyoncé, Brandy, & Enrique Iglesias.
Malik's success in music came in 1992 when he wrote "Nu Nu" with Lidell Townsell which sold over 500,000 copies in the U.S. He also wrote "boom shake the room" for Will Smith, which sold over 2 million records world wide. After which he and life long friend Hula started a group called the "Outhere Brothers" that went on to have massive success in Europe with hit singles "Boom Boom Boom" and "Don't Stop" which collectively sold over 3 million records world wide.
Vince Melo began as a DJ in the late 90’s, then started to work on his music production soon after that.
