Yer in the mix with your girlfriends favorite dj........."Dj DStick-d". Dj stick dj is a upcomming dj in the San diego area. Dj Stick-d originally from El Paso Tx got his name from his highschool basketball team mates for him constantly saying "stick D" which in basketball terms means stick your defender. But has some how transformed from the basketball term, to his tall and skinny framed body and his first name starting wit a D. Stick-D has always wanted to become a dj ever since his early years of living, but never having the funds to support such a habbit. But when he moved out the house and became his own person he was able to support his habit and goal in being one of the most well know djs all over. Who ever though this skinny parkland graduate wit gold teeth would be in the subject of many people with a music influence all over the west coast for rocking the party or club, with just 2 turntables and a mixer. Dj Stick-d is currently signed to a record label which have been doin shows all over the west coast in just a short bit of time. This record label is also the home to a studio that has recorded allot of artist in the indusrty that you hear today on the radio and on mix c.d.s. Dj stick-d is currently working on his free online mixtape "The mixtape Infurno" which includes exclusive main stream tracks as well as exclusicve tracks from the recordlabel and local artist from the west coast. Dj stick-d isnst stoping untill he reaches the top. The top to him is being a well know factor in the west coast music industry for the help and aid of getting local artist that spot light in the music indusrty. He aslo has a big dream of getting his own djing show on his favorite hip hop and r&b radio station Z90.3. Constantly traveling all over the U.S. Dj Stick-D is gettin his name know either by a live mixed promo c.d. or a buissness card and meeting new djs all over the country. His metheod has landed him a news paper article which has made it to magazine, got him gigs at clubs on military installations, and countless house partys. He has aslo had the privaledge to dj with a legendary San Diego dj, Dj Craigmac at club Tinas, to his mist recent biggest gig ever, the Rick Ross concert with some of San Diegos hottest djs, Dj Rage, Gigi, and dj Fingaz. With his upcoming tour in Japan commin in late June 2008, Stick-d hopes to gain allot of recogmition out there to really put him on the dj sence back in the states. If he isnt t at work he is either practicing his skills at his house, scratching at the Green Tea House, of having scratch lessons, at Califorina Sound and Lighing with one of the best scratch djs in San diego Dj 1 Man Jazz.
