I recently saw a special on Darfur a few weeks ago and was utterly sickened by the idea that people who could do something about the horrible situation were doing nothing. I did however see in that same week tremendous hype about this new Apple Iphone. While hundreds of people lined the streets to buy this extremely expensive phone, another 1000 men, women, and children were being brutally tortured, raped, and/or murdered in Darfur daily. I would like for this page to serve as an awakening for people and hope that one day, enough people will come together and stop the genocide!
