About Me

What to say? I find it difficult to offer much description. I'm bookish, retiring, generally quiet and mildly misanthropic (working in retail and hospitality will do that to anyone). I am introspective, and generally self-centered. I have always been interested in how people think about the (and their own) world. As I have gotten older, my interests have become somewhat more concrete and "external", but I always retain my fascination with thoughts, beliefs, and motivations. I generally try to keep things light, and often am not comfortable talking about serious topics for too long or with anyone but the closest of people.If you have studied any personality psychology, I am an INFP on the myers briggs type indicator. Astologically, I am a Pisces. In Chinese astrology, I am a snake...cold blooded either system you use. Although not new to the internet, I am not very familiar with sites such as these, where you post everything about yourself. If you choose to peruse, boredom may await you. You have been warned.

I'm not generally into celebrities. I think that it would have been very interesting to meet with Ayn Rand and talk about things with her. I find certain aspects of her philosophy very compelling, but I have had a few difficulties reconciling it with some of my values and beliefs.
