About Me

~Christian Connection Highest Power~ (The Hippest Gospel E-Newsletter…. Connecting Your Church, Ministry, Business or Event)The God given vision for Christian Connection Highest Power (CCHP) ministry is based on Ephesians 4:25 “…there are many members but one body.” Our purpose is to bring together Christians from every nationality, race and denomination to visibly demonstrate the unity that we share in our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. CCHP accomplishes this mission by sending out an e-newsletter to inform our Christian brothers and sisters of Christ-centered events and happenings taking place in the Twin Cities area and other cities. This newsletter, which has been actively connecting Christian communities since November 15, 2002, is free of charge. The content includes church announcements as well as advertisements for Christian businesses. In addition, CCHP’s mission is to serve as a support system for churches, Christian business owners and artists that are looking to get the word out about events and services that are offered. Because part of our goal is to also bring Christians together regardless of race or denomination, one of the ways that we have achieved this goal is by putting on an annual dinner cruise each year.In August of 2003 we put on our very first “St. Croix Caribbean Dinner Cruise” which God really blessed. We featured Christian comedians, singers and musicians. There were about 200 people that came out and fellowshipped with us. In 2004 we put on a “Fall Fashion Extravaganza Dinner Cruise” where there was a fashion show featuring clothing and hats by local Christian Designers. There were also Comedians, Singers and other artists that shared their ministries as well as vendors. In 2005 we sponsored our very first urban community outreach event “Back to School Sports Jam Festival” that took place outside at an urban community park. There were local and national Christian artists that ministered in song, spoken word, comedy, dancing and preaching. There was also sports, food and merchant vendors. In 2006 we put on an “African Safari Gospel Cruise” featuring singers and musicians, as well as an upcoming local Christian painter. We also showcased an art exhibit as well. The Dinner Cruises serve as a great opportunity to invite family and friends that are not saved, because at the end of the program we will give those that don’t know Christ the opportunity to accept Him as their Lord and Savior before it’s over. It’s also a great opportunity for people to meet and get to know other people outside of their own social circle. This year, 2007 we are gearing up for our “Whiteout Yacht Party Dinner Cruise” featuring, comedy, singing and dancing. Our goal is to also sponsor more community out-reach events involving different Christian churches in and around the Twin Cities as well as other cities, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.God Bless, Yolanda Holcomb Founder
