Eve Mackay is a 24 year old singer/songwriter from West Lothian in Scotland. Her songs are heavily based on simple chords and melodies with diverse harmonies.Eve has been in a number of bands throughout college as well as playing and recording with other songwriters and performers. She has been writing songs since she was 14 and has been focussing on developing her music as a solo artist. She has played at many venues over the past couple of years such as The Exchange, The Venue, The Arc, The Mixing Rooms, Big in Falkirk, Tryst Festival and has also supported Sandi Thom at Left Bank in Edinburgh.Eve has recently made it through the regional final of Live and Unsigned. She is playing on April 27th in Newcastle to compete against other artists in the hope to win a management and recording contract and to become the UKs best unsigned act.Three of her tracks are on here at present.
