The Broad Axe is located on 28 W Franklin Street in downtown Hagerstown Maryland. Metal/Hardcore/Punk/Rock shows will happen the second Saturday in every month. All shows are 18+. Shows are $6 for 21 and over, $8 for 18-21 and start around 9pm (with doors opening at 8pm). There is parking behind the Broad Axe and limited parking in front of the venue. We do not own or run the Broad Axe. They were kind enough to give us a place to put on local shows and this page was set up to promote the shows we book there. We promote every show we do but we also ask for the bands to promote as well because afterall, it is your show and the more people who know about it, the better. We also ask bands who play the Broad Axe to please be respectful of the venue and others attending the shows. When alcohol is involved we understand some people can get out of control but please watch out for each other and those around you. We are trying hard to keep this scene alive and the venue supporting the music we are into. We have seen way too many great venues no longer allowing this type of music because of a few disrespectful people attending the shows.
