About Me

Maitreya is the culmination of over five years of songwriting and recording efforts of Heathyr See. Heathyr's musical goal for Maitreya is to bring together her varied influences under one cohesive and sophisticated original sound, yet retain her sound's rock 'n' roll roots and structure. Her melodically driven songwriting approach provides an interesting sound that is layered over traditional rock harmonic and rhythmic structures, yet she also enjoys experimenting with new and unique approaches to songwriting, including collaborations with some very talented musicians and one exceptional producer, Danny Shaffer (www.dannyshaffer.com).
