Wouter Smit started to produce house-music with one of his best friends Robert Powlson years ago. He came out with his own live-set for the first time in the beginning of 2008 at the infamous nightclub Flexbar in Amsterdam. From there he played on several occasions like; Tivoli de Helling (Utrecht, NL), Off the Record (Sofia, BG), Day305 (Rotterdam, NL) and LinkeSoep NYE (Amsterdam, NL). His sound is variety of dub, house, tech-house, minimal and techno and always on the move...
Next to his music he works closely together with the people of 365mag.com and the 365LIVE! producers workshops & masterclasses.
With 365 he started his own clubnight called " New House Collective" at the cultural nighttheater the Sugar Factory in Amsterdam. His vision behind this concept is mainly to bring upcoming (live) artists, new forms of house, minimal and techno together with art and special techniques in video-performance.
His interrest in video-art is something which is embedded in Wouters life from the time he worked as a booker for several Dutch video artists (VJ's). He experimented a lot within the synergy between music, video and high-end projection techniques.
