Emmanuel alias Yekim is rocked by electronic sounds since he is a child with his parents who listen, between-others, Jean-Michel Jarre.
He discovers at 10 years old the techno-dance sounds. It is decided, Yekim will compose electronic music.
He composes his first musics ..board at 14 years old and starts music computer-assisted in 1997. At this time, he lives in Mauritius and makes the first electro album ever produced on the island in year 2000 with his best friend on Liquid Sound, the label of a famous mauritian dj, Giovanni Paul, created for the occasion.
A second album will be born one year later. Always in 2000, shouldered by Giovanni, Yekim makes his first dj sets and is quickly invited to mix in the most famous clubs of Mauritius. In 2001, he goes back to France, and from this date, mixes in various clubs and events in France.a
