Late At Last

About Me

Unforgettable melodies and a compelling live show make Late At Last one of the most exciting bands to come out of Santa Cruz. Even at this early stage in its existence, Late At Last is establishing itself as a musical leviathan.
Urgently current, yet promising longevity, Late At Last combines mesmeric keyboards with a scientifically honed guitar tone. TAXI has called Rob Patterson’s song writing, “Strong - compelling…beautifully structured - keeps the listener glued to the track…fresh, has good imagery, integrity and honesty.”
Ladies and Gentlemen, Late At Last:
Rob Patterson - Vocals, Guitars
Carey Webber - Guitars
Jonathan Hughes - Keyboards
Josh Pitts - Bass
Nathan Bach - Drums
In May of 2006, after having played together off and on for more than 5 years, the band gathered at a local pub to discuss the possibility of forming a consistent band. After that initial discussion it didn’t take long to recognize an uncommon chemistry, and unmistakable energy among the guys. "At first we weren't sure what our sound would be," says Nathan. "Now we know and it's liberating because it gives our music a foundation. From there, all bets are off."
The band began performing weekly in September of 2006, and is currently stepping up their live show and introducing new material that will serve as the basis for their first LP.
What does the future hold for Late At Last? Perhaps it’s too early to tell but you can bet the band is in store for one incredible journey.
