The Pet Rock Festival was founded in 1999, a benefit for animals held in Worcester, Massachsuetts annually to raise money for New England based animal organizations. Its purpose is to promote kindness to all animals by educating the public on issues such as adoption, reporting cruelty and learning compassion.
Next year's event is Sept. 14 from noon to 5 p.m. at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, MA.
