MAY DAY (sintakis/dagioglou)

His name is Sindakis Haralambos he was born in 1986 on the 8th of July in Ptolemaida, prefecture of Kozani. He lived and grew up there until he was 16 years old. Then he moved to Thessaloniki, where he lives until now. He played basketball for the team of west Macedonia. Later on he participated in the national handball team where he won the second position in the Greek handball championship He has occupied himself for many years in radio stations like a producer and sound engineer. This occupation was an impulse for him to play guitar and compose songs. He has graduated with a diploma in music technology. He now works at ANT1 radio station as a music producer where with Elvira Dagioglou they have an original music program where they perform live greek and rock music. His aim is to work like a music composer and music technologist. He has influences of Greek music and especially of the rock and pop music scene. He has also performed live with Elvira Dagioglou in different music scenes in Thessaloniki and together they are working on their first record.Elvira Dagioglou was born in 1984 in Thessaloniki where she grew up. When she was 11 years old she won the 1st prize for performance at the Balcanic Festival of Belgrade. She then begun her music studies on piano. She went to the Music Highschool of Thessaloniki and studied guitar, later on she took lessons of Byzantine music. She has taken part in national school choir competitions and artistic music groups where she was awarded. She is a senior of the Dentist University of Thessaloniki. Since she was 18 she has worked singing live in different parts of Greece and has taken part in many concerts with known Greek singers. Today together with her studies she and Babis Sindakis have their own music program at a big radio station of Thessaloniki. And together they are working on their first record.
