Huntsville Young Professionals is the only organization in the Tennessee Valley region that caters exclusively to the active lifestyle of today's young professional. HYP is providing a wide range of social, entertainment, professional development, community development, and networking opportunities for all young professionals.
HYP was first launched in June 2004. Since then, HYP has grown substantially and now has a membership base of more than 2,600 ... and counting! Members live in Huntsville, Madison, Decatur, Athens, Guntersville, and other cities throughout the Tennessee Valley region. In March 2005, HYP was formally established as an incoproated non-profit organization to provide a wide range of opportunities for young professionals. Prior to that, HYP was an initiative of the Volunteer Center of Madison County formed to promote volunteerism and to help address workforce retention issues for local employers.
Today, HYP is led by a volunteer Board of Directors of 24 young professionals and is comprised of a series of dynamic councils to engage its entire membership and to actively impact the community as a whole. Find out more about HYP at http://www.gethyp.net
