So I’ve been spending the more part of my free time trying to build a functional telephone out of common bits and pieces that I find laying around. I’ve been as severe as to scrounge around in dumpsters just to find what I’m looking for. You see, I’m hoping to avoid any and all use of wretched moneys lately, especially in this project, I mean, that would really defeat the purpose, wouldn’t it? This will be a telephone that in being costless it is made priceless.

Doug Funnie.Although he was an average pre-teen with problems just like the rest of us, he would always face life head on. He was a beacon to the value of keeping journals. Remember how frightening it was when Roger found his journal? Here was his chance to blackmail Douglas. But he was unable to. He couldn't read Doug's "chicken scratch." Of course the audience finds relief in this at that particular moment, but is it really a good thing? How can Doug's posterity benefit from all of his experiences if they can't even read the tedious record keeping dear Doug has compiled? Sorry. I'm not about to dis Doug. I just got side tracked. But it really is something to think about. Doug rules. A day without a Doug flash back for me is like a day without liquid to quench my thirst, without silence to empty my thoughts, without sleep to take me away from the world, so I can rejuvenate and invigorate my being.
