About Me

MyGen Profile GeneratorThe things I like the most are music, sports, and women! I play football, cricket, hockey, badminton, table tennis, chess, and a few others... I also love following the cricket and footie. However, supporting my beloved Tottenham Hotspur is a pretty thankless job, and causes a lot of strife every season (improving this season tho...!)With regards to music, well, it's my main passion. Sadly, I have no musical talent/prowess, and so am resigned to listening only (Like to think I can sing, but friends firmly assure me I can't!)Other than sports and music, well... I enjoy travelling, and seeing new places/meeting new people. I want to go and live abroad at some point soon, and hopefully my new job will allow me to do so...I like painting and drawing, lazing and chilling, drinking and eating... living and breathing, loving and caring.I think i'm chilled out, charming and affable, and get on with everyone. If i could be anything, I would be a musician/rock star, playing sell-out gigs to millions of adoring fans!

My Interests

Erm, was I supposed to cover that here? I think I kinda already did this above?Music is my main interest, as stated all over my page! I find that there are songs which can match, heighten or even change any mood i'm in, whether for better or for worse. And there's stuff that really affects me aswell...emotionally i mean. This is, (in my opinion), what music is all about - capturing a moment, or inducing an emotion.Well, i also adore comic art, stuff by people like Scott Hanna, Jim and Pat Lee, Tim Sale, and I love reading stuff by people like Neil Gaiman, Garth Ennis, Jeph Loeb, Chuck Dixon, Jamie Delano. I do appreciate more mainstream art aswell, artists such as Monet and Cezanne amongst other impressionists are my favourites, but I find the comic stuff awesome! Stuff like Preacher, Hellblazer, Sandman - i really enjoy immersing myself in the fictional places these stories are set. Especially the Sandman, as Neil Gaiman really lucidly depicts beautiful and vivid scenes, through imagery and metaphor.Well other than that, every day seems to be a battle against boredom, mundanity, lack of sleep/health and hangovers....

I'd like to meet:

Everyone and anyone. When I met Tom Morello the other day...

Music:

My fave bands list would take me about an hour to put on here, so I'll just mention the one that have had the most influence on me: 3 Doors down, ACDC, Air, Alice in chains/ Alice Cooper, Alter Bridge, Audioslave, Beck, Ben Folds Five, Ben Harper, Bob Dylan, Chris Cornell, Creed, Cypress Hill, Faithless, Filter, Foo Fighters, Fuel, Goo Goo Dolls, Guns'n'Roses, Incubus, Jane's Addiction, Jimmy Eat World, John Butler Trio, Life Of Agony, Live, Matchbox 20, Metallica, Morcheeba, Mother Love Bone, Nirvana, Paul Simon, Prodigy, Rage Against the Machine, Roxette, Silverchair, Screaming Trees, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Sublime, Temple of the Dog, The Beatles, The Breeders, The Mayfield Four, The Offspring, The White Stripes, Ugly Kid Joe, U2, Velvet Revolver, Weezer. I've blatantly missed out a whole load of my faves in that list, but I've been privileged enough to see a whole load of bands live, and the list is ever increasing! ROCK!U've probably left without being arsed to finish reading....

Movies:

Well as long as there's no girlie bullshit, and anything i have to really concentrate to read the subtitles on (I always fall asleep to those!) pretty much anything, although I do love a bit of sci-fi! Is that too typically bloke-ish? I like thrillers, and action films too, stuff like Identity which has a mad twist, or Hero, which is brilliantly choreographed, and has beautiful set design. I also like the odd film which is based on a true story, like Shattered Glass which was quality. Dr Strangeglove or:How I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb was great! But then all Peter Sellers stuff is. Have u seen The Party? Absolute class! My favourite recent film is probably the Machinist with Christian Bale. Real good, as it makes u think, and you can see Trevor Reznik going properly mad, but don't know whether he should be or not...

Television:

Don't do it, generally, unless there's some footie on...and i'm normally in the pub then anyway! Saying that, I adore South Park, and think that it's the funniest thing ever. A current affairs satire, that doesn't exclude anyone (including themselves) from a massive verbal battering!

Books:

I do love reading, but have neglected it somewhat recently, due to various reasons. Again, a good bit of Sci-fi or fantasy never goes amiss, but I do like a lot of recent books I've read which accurately portray common life, or stuff such as American Gods, which is the best book i've read in a long while, as it contextualises current and very real and important issues in a fictional fantasy setting...

Heroes:

Chris Cornell...what a gifted and talented bloke! It does make me very jealous, but I just can't not respect someone with that much class and talent. Other than that, anyone who will seize the moment, and do anything in their power to get what they want. There are several times in the past when I wish I could have done that. But, I am resolving to do so in the future. If i want something real bad, I'm gonna fucking get it no matter what!

My Blog

No time for myspace! Who-da thunk it!

Well, haven't been on here for a good while, and ain't posted a blog for longer! The main reason for this is work blocks access to it! See it wasn't a chosen path... ;) So yeah - been real busy with w...

Why free beer is bad

1. It makes me greedy as I want all of it, and have to consume it as fast as physically possible. 2. It makes me even more badly behaved than usual. 3. It takes away absolutely all of my pool-playing ...
