About Me

Republiky is an italian alternative band, created in Prague, on a backpack trip. The members are from Florence, Italy, except for the singer, who is from Mexico City. The proposal of this band consists on strong personal lyrics, original guitar riffs, with influence of classic rock passages. Republiky was meant to be from the beginning an INTERNATIONAL project, in which you can identify an inevitable rise to the mainstream, where the big bands belong. Band members - Rul (voice, guitar), Juls (drums) and former guitarist Matteo and bassist Lapo (now involved in diverse projects). The message that The Rep delivers is from inner desires, frustrations and sincere human passages in this world. Sounds Like: similar to the TRUE PEOPLE, the patient ones, those who stay beside you when the storm comes down. The ones that really struggle, the ones that know what REAL SACRIFICE means, because is the path that makes a man, not the finish line... have you ever thought what happens if you don't arrive??? yes, you will be less than a man, because that is what you are... NOT A MAN, but a sheep. Follow the lead, it was there anyway, right? so pathetic, if you asked me. Brave as they believe, are those who left at halftime, only to find themselves off shore, in someone else's mind and creativity... couldn't you just start a new venue??? GUESS NOT!!! balls, brains and humility: 3 skills, 2 flaws. Unlucky and devastated by their own demons are those who CANNOT start something on their own, like sheeps, always behind... because they know they're lost somewhere, finding out, maybe too late, that magic is not in the speed of the fingers, not in the books... EVERYTHING COMES OUT FROM THE HEART AND FROM THE SOUL (in case you own one).And yes, we are everything you've heard, even worse... but please, save your gallons of saliva and stop spitting shit, we've had too much already.Fuck off everyone, no place for disgrace - for I know how to go on, I always have, because I lead, not follow.
