I started the drums at age 6 and soon became active in bands by age 10, No lie. In Jr. High School I was fortunate enough to meet and have the famous Chuck Wackerman as my Jazz & Drum instructor. It was even more fortunate that I also got all 4 years of High School with Mr. Wackerman as my advanced Jazz director as well as my private teacher. I would soon go on to study with world renowned drummer, clinician & teacher Chuck Flores. Before High School came to a close , I would receive many outstanding soloist awards at Jazz festivals and finally The Louis Armstrong Jazz Award my senior year. I also made my first earnings as a professional player early on in high school. As soon as I got to Fullerton College on a full music scholarship I would study with Allen Carter who became another huge influence. Some other major influences on me are Richard Pryor, Jughead, Chris Partridge, Dave Goode, Esteban, James E. Some credits on projects include the likes of TV shows The Young & The Restless, The Bold & The Beautiful, One Life To Live, All My Children, Dawson's Creek and Beverly Hills 90210. Educational projects like Stand Alone Tracks improvisational skill builders Volumes 1 and 2, Cable Television sound track work on Cinemax, Showtime, HBO and The Lifetime Network. You can hear me on the Marvel Comic's video game "The Punisher" & also the long awaited "Red Alert 3" video game. You can find me all over the score to the soundtrack from the 2006 motion picture "Partners". There are two tracks you can hear me playing on in the 2007 motion picture "White Air" as well. There are more records, sessions & projects I can't think of. Tell you when I remember.I also worked with the rock band TOEHEAD on Laundry Room Records and Fender Records.I like Viking Food, Pizza, Sushi and Thai Food. I also like long walks on the beach, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Richard Simmons, show tunes, wine tasting, reading a good book in a bubble bath and you.
