About Me

I'm a Spanish/Filipina woman, born in the Philippines, raised in England, and now living in California. I speak four languages and I'm currently learning sign language. I'm a computer programmer, a self confessed geek, the new generation of sexy geeks. I believe that intellect is important and self improvement is a must.

I'm complicated but true, naive but I learn, sensitive but determined, scared but strong, falls in love easily but once in love, will last the distance. I guess put simply, I'm a concoction of traits, that I try to balance in order to make sure my weaknesses, become my underlying strength. I have good days and bad days like everyone else. I am definitely complicated, motivated and spirited, but I give everyone at least one chance to get to know me.

I live to learn and I use any medium available to me, be it books, computers, observation, and most importantly people around me. I have learned my most important lessons in life through others, and hence I am amazed and drawn towards intellectual people, those who show determination and strength despite every obstacle are the people I seek out and want to get to know, because they have learned more than most.

I believe that there is good in everyone, so I try to be a good friend to anyone who is a true friend to me. I believe in acceptance in friendship, as in warts and all, true friendship for me means loyalty and honesty, which in return rewards trust. Only my friends can truly say who I am and how important friendship is to me. Suffice to say I have friends who have been there all my life, from the age of 10 until now, still a very active part of my life (Thanks Janet!) Many have come and gone in my life, all will be remembered be it good or bad, but only the ones who have trully touched my heart will stay with me forever.

I think that I am frank and sincere. I've learned how to be strong to survive, and I've realized that real love start from within and eminates outwards towards the people around you, that being true to myself is the best way to live. To live without regret, only lessons that prepare us for the next stage in our life.

I've found what most have looked for all their life. I've found my peace, my harmony, my real happiness, and it was within me all along. Happiness truly is a state of mind, and that no matter what happens, life will carry on, and you can either flow with it or stop and let it pass you by.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet men and women in Cali of course, but anyone from any part of the world. I moved to Cali in September and I miss all my friends in London. I have friends here thanks to the internet, but I believe you can never have enough friends. I am trying to find friends who are closer to my age, because I would like to be able to have a decent conversation with friends who on the same level!

I'm not looking for the man of my dreams, but as with everything I never rule it out I know that when you meet someone if the chemistry is there, then its inevitable and so ITS ON! =P

Life for me is only complicated if you let it become that way. I am not looking for drama so if thats what you're bringing all I can say is NO, but thanks for asking!!

I want to meet someone who knows what honesty truly means, someone who still believes in love and in people. A person whom despite every fall and every obstacle, never ever gives up. I want to meet someone who strives to be all that they can be in every aspect of their life, while remaining humble enough to help those who need it most. I want to find my equal, in mind, heart and soul. I know he is out there, the question is.....

R&B, Classical, Zen, Jazz, Christian, Gospel, Soul, Ballads, Dance and Instrumental compilations. Music plays a big part in my life, it is the always there in every aspect of my day. When I work and when I want to just sit and think, even when I read I prefer music to be playing. When I work out in the gym I need music to keep me motivated. I prefer listening to music that you can relax to and any music that doesn't need to curse to bring its point accross. I also tend to listen to music that suits my mood, the ones that I can relate to and the ones that tell a story are the ones that are imprinted in my memory.

Whose Line is it anyway?, CSI, X Files,Wonderfalls, Law and Order SVU, Dr. Phil, and the Food Network because I love to cook, its the one of the things that I learned from my mother that I am so very grateful for.

Heroes:

God is my hero and Christ for the sarifices he made for human kind. Luna is by far my most cherish hero. She reminds me what is important and her love keeps me strong and determined to be the best that I can be. She is by far the one person whom I admire most. My mother is my idol for she raised 3 children on her own and gave us the chance at a bright future. My sister because she is living proof that hardwork and determination pays off. My friends for in them I have learnt such valuable lessons, in the way they deal with obstacles and trials that cross their path. There are a lot of heroes in my life some are still here and others have passed on, but having them in my life has left imprints that has made me a better individual, and they will stay with me forever.
