Steve Kortyka Music

Steve Kortyka is a saxophone playing machine that eats saxophone licks for breakfast, digests them and then gets to work on lunch and dinner. He can be found practicing in any room of the house, so keep an eye out for him. After attending the university of Cincinnati, he did some freelance work in the Cinci area and decided to join the cruise industry. It is there where he has been sharpening his skills, like the highlander sharpening his weapons, awaiting to attack the New York scene. Steve can be found performing in front of a stereo with his good friend who never speaks or interacts with him, Jamey Aebersold. In 2010, he plans on attending graduate school in NYC at Queens College in order to further his career and endeavors of becoming a great musician.
