Hingebound is not your every day rock band. "It's like a battle of blues versus metal every song!" Hitting the stage in late 2007, the band redefined hard rock with breakthrough tracks such as "Martha" and "Almost God". And now 2-1/2 years into the music making business are on the verge of something great.
Hingebound's music hinges on great nu-alternative blues riffs and hard-core rock rhythm throughout every song. With the help of an extreme mix of vocals ranging from soft jazzy lyrics to edgy metal screams vocalist and co-songwriter Kevin Greer utilizes his voice as if it were just another instrument. "Honestly I had never seen someone control a stage like Kevin," says bassist Tristen Anderson, "he acts like hes possessed."
One reappearing coincidence between all of their music is hard driving heavy guitar with solid backing. "Timing is never an issue with Kevin," says Collin Miley speaking of drummer Kevin Gardner, "he uses his feet better than I use my hands.
