Initialize (AKA Eruption in the hardcore scene) strives to deliver an experience, a vibe that music fans will find irresistible not only with his weekly slot on DarkFM.com (Thursday nights 9-10pm) but also with his his new found hobby in producing tracks. Glynn has always had an interest in music ranging from Dance to Metal, inspiring him to learn the guitar at the late age of 24 & mixing on his Technics 1210 mk2's from the age of 18. He is self taught on the keyboard and can play to an advanced level which puts him in good stead for producing once he upgrades his kit! Initialize earned his first recognition at the age of 20 when he played his euphoric trance set at The Kingswood Tavern which hosted many up and coming DJ's at the time. The majority of them moved onto hardcore but Glynn stayed with his roots and carried on with playing the tunes he loved the most. He tends to enjoy playing what he enjoy the most, rather than jumping on bandwagons. On July 5th at The Robin Hood, Bristol Road, Gloucester, Initialize played a cutting edge Trance set along with other talented DJ's which went down a storm. He thrives off entertaining the crowd and has a huge desire for a good crowd dancing to what he plays. He also knows there are people out there who share the same amount of love for trance as he does, so he didn't think it's right to move to another genre. His tracks aren't trance however. His multi genre music is written for everybodys taste. With the mixing side of things, he's been a resident DJ of www.darkfm.com for nearly two years. They've allowed him to express his interest in music by giving him a weekly slot on Thursday nights and it's them he's most grateful for!!
