Look, Pillow Pants is Smiling

About Me

I'm an outgoing person with a contagious smile. I enjoy going out, having fun and trying new things. I truly believe that hard work and dedication are the keys to being successful in life. I loathe people who think they are 'entitled'. If you want something, then get off your ass and work for it. Even more, I can't stand ignorant people. Although I can be empathetic at times, very rarely will I feel sorry for you. My personal philosophy: when life throws you a lemon, grab some salt and a shot of tequila.I have 2 dogs and a cat. They annoy me, but I couldn't live without them. If you hate animals then I am not really the person you want to talk to. :)I am an MBA student at UD. I love to learn and I do think you should "use it or lose it" (which can also describe other things, but we won't go there).I have some of the best and craziest friends one can hang out with. I have a boyfiend that drives me crazy at times, yet i'm smitten (not in a creepy stalker sense). Between my 'posse' and boyfriend, there is never a dull moment.

My Interests

Hanging out, playing pool, going to concerts, seeing bands play, having 'girl talk', riding motorcycles, white water rafting, and just plain relaxing (since that doesn't happen often)

I'd like to meet:

My future husband, Matthew McConaughy. He is HOT!!I will talk to just about anyone, so feel free to write me.

Music:

Anything that sounds good (alternative, country, rap, etc.) If it has a good beat then I will listen to it.

Movies:

I'm a girl so of course I like romance. I even enjoy comedies and movies that make you think.

Television:

I don't have cable. No worries though, I got electricity last week, so I will have cable soon enough.

Books:

Brain candy (trashy romance novels), books on how to solve everyones problems and anything that will make you think. If you know of any good reads let me know!

Heroes:

cancer survivors and people who work hard to get what they want out of life.

My Blog

ich brauchen einen Urlaub

Unfortunately, some weeks I have to come to work in order to recover from the weekend.  As mentioned before, maybe some time this summer I can take a day or two to just do nothing.  But, the...

Only you can prevent forest fires

I am back after a pretty great weekend (surprisingly since I usually get annoyed with people if I spend too much time with them).  I bet I missed some good times at the Strawberry Festival, so I...

Cleveland Rocks!

It has been a long week!  Not only did it start out from being exhausted from the weekend, but then I had meetings in Newtown.  As with any meeting they were long (but had moments of being i...

Memorial Day Reflections

It's been a long weekend (so much for 3-day vacations) and today is going to be a busy one.  To top it off, I'm not feeling too peachy (and no, it's not due to alcohol).   First, a recap o...

Go to the store and buy some hater-tots!

First, I must thank Nikki for introducing me to to "Pudge-less Fudge Brownie Mix".  I leave the baking up to Batman (although I am pretty damn good when given a clean, hairless environm...

Who wants to ride my drunken slut shuttle?

To those wondering (many know) I have decided to try actually dating again.  This is something new to me since I have tactfully avoided commitment over the last two years.  It's a little sca...

Taming the green-eyed monster

I know jealousy effects even the best of us (as was demonstrated last weekend).  Unfortunately, sometimes the green-eyed monster can take it too far and become distorted and delusional.   ...

Anal Retentive

It's hard to believe that in less than 24-hrs Nikki is finally going to become a Winner.  J     I don't know who's more nervous, me or her considering she is leaving the single life b...

Beaver sap is best when taken directly from the tap

Once again I am being the queen of procrastination.  There is so much to do at home, research for school, and here I am once again 'trolling' on myspace.     This week my friends and I...

So how do you like your new boobs?

It's been a fairly interesting week.  Not sure if I should embrace it, or go hide under the covers... There are days when I just feel completely overwhelmed by everything that I need to get accom...
