On Long Island's North Fork three women are trying to put their broken lives together the best they can after a series of disastrous relationships. In their epic - and hopelessly misguided - search for enlightenment and self-improvement, they turn to booze, drugs, horny Asian rock stars, karaoke, ex-porn actors, and a French Boy Toy named Laurent. Dysfunctional Book Club stars Jennifer Scharf, Jewel Donohue, Antonia Bennett, Patrick Cohen "We Need Girlfriends", Robin Watkins, Tokio Paris, Donald C. Foley, William DeCoff, Nic Tyler, Charles Morgan, Carl Park Utz, Jason Krangel, Elizabeth Utz, Elizabeth Saville, Katherine Scharf, Patty Orben, Billy Divello, Peter Sultan, Lisa Hubbard, Philip J. Cardinale, Sean Mockler, Christine Kuhlmann, Erika Tuthill, Carol Metaxas & Megan Laurel.
The movie was directed by Richard Griffin, written and produced by Jennifer Scharf, executive produced by Dick Winslow. The cinematography was by Jason Krangel, lighting director was Gregory Sanders, the key grip/gaffer was Jacob Larimore and the assistant director was Ted Marr. Make-up and hair was provided by Megan Laurel. (more crew listed shortly)
