LewQuash Nostalgic

LewQuash is one family with two names: Lewis and Quashie. We were established in 1992 providing entertainment through our own theatrical presentations, entertaining friends and families. LewQuash also organise costal lymes, barbeques and 'get togethers' for our family and friends creating a real community spirit. In 2007 LewQuash and Nostalgic Sound (an addition of LewQuash)to form 'Lewquash Nostalgic'. For the Notting Hill Carnival, LewQuash Nostalgic took to the streets of Notting Hill to bring back 'Nostalgia' to the Carnival. For some years now, the Notting Hill Carnival have been 'marred' by small groups of trouble makers who have no idea of the purpose of Carnival or its purpose. Due to this many people (especially those of the older generation) have found it difficult to come to the carnival and enjoy themself. LewQuash Notalgic's aim is to change that. We welcome all who want a sense of 'Nostalgia' in their carnival. We want to go back to a time when we enjoyed ourselves and we didn't have to worry about the problems of the day, the couple of days during the August Bank Holiday, when we are given permission to claim the streets of Notting Hill as our own.
