Temptation is an evil that lives in the heart of all men. Whether the temptation be money, power, lust, whatever it is. It can also drive many people to not think before they act, but instead, act just as one large group, and that is a very dangerous thing. The one enemy of the devil of temptation would be courage. The courage to do what's right even though you dont want to be labeled an outcast. When a large group is acting the same, there are usually more than one person who feel the same way as you. The courage to say, "no," when it is so easy to say yes. The courage to continue on instead of just giving up when it gets hard. I will change the world to my views on how it should be. People will learn to love one another better. The way they need to accomplish this at first though, is by learning to love and truely understand themselves. only then will they be able to achieve a love that is deeper than ever before. once that is achieved, we can all work towards making a better tomorrow in this world. no goal no matter how "unreasonable" it is, is unachievable. As my best friend mike told me recently, "i figured it out, you have such huge shoulder blades and a bad foot because you were never meant to walk. those shoulder blades were to be wings, you were meant to fly." yes, we were joking around, but to show you all, no dream is unachievable. you just have to look deep within yourself to find it. dont settle for what you can live with, but strive for what you cannot live without. whether it be the person of your dreams, or what it is in the world you truely want to do. i dont think a child said to his mommy "I want to work in a cubicle all my life." be that firefighter you always wanted to be. make a change. dont be the potted plant that can only grow so much. be the oak in the forest always growing and branching out.
