Judith grew up among the farms in the Dutch countryside and began her musical career by singing during the long bikerides to school. She studied classical piano and moved to the west coast of Holland, where she graduated in Greek and Latin languages.After her graduation, Judith decided to follow her heart into the music. She studied jazz singing at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and began immediatly to follow her own path in this field.After completing her study at the conservatory, Judith started writing her own compositions in which the emphasis lies in the combination of various styles of music with her own distinct style. With a freshness of her generation, her songs sound familiar and surprising at the same time.Judith's vocal expression is particulary evident in her flexible timbre. She's a singer of a new generation which can perform jazz in the authentic way as well as with a tint of pop and soul.Judith released her debut 'The Beautiful Reality of Life' in 2003 and her second cd 'Suitcase of Songs' in 2006. The last 3 years she toured in Dutch theaters, but also performed with her own songs in New York, Poland, Switserland and Sicily.
