CARCHAROTH [New CD AVAILABLE!!]

CARCHAROTH is a Spanish Pagan Black Metal band. The lyrics talks about ancient times when the pagan way of life made people lived in deep connection with the nature, respecting the deep valour that it has and defending them and their land.
The band born in the winter of 2002 as a band formed with only two members (LORD NAUSEA y DENETHOR).
At the early 2003 the first songs were composed, but it was not until ends of the same year when, after knowing HERMOD , they could record them.. Thanks to his help and after passing to form a part of the formation of the band the songs were being completed.
In May of 2004 the recording of the first demo “MY FATHER WAS A WOLF” finished and the North American label Battle Hymn Records (http://www.battlehymnrecords.com) edited this demo on tape with pro-cover.
In summer of 2006 JARLETH joined the band and closed the actual formation. During the summer of this year CARCHAROTH composed new song for a future album.
2007 is the year when the band began to record the new songs for their CD. At the end of June, near the Shamhain night, “DESOLATED BATTLEFIELDS” was finally recorded. Six songs which runs 35 minutes of pure Pagan Black Metal.
In october of 2007 CARCHAROTH has signed to BLACK TOWER PRODUCTIONS and probably, at the end of this year, "DESOLATED BATTLEFIELDS" CD come out...

CARCHAROTH es una banda española de Pagan Black Metal. Sus letras hablan sobre tiempos antiguos en los cuales el modo de vida pagano hizo que la gente viviese en profunda conexión con la naturaleza, respetando sus profundos valores y luchando por ellos y por su tierra.
La banda nació en invierno del 2002 como una banda formada por solo dos miembros (LORD NAUSEA Y DENETHOR).
Al comienzo de 2003 fueron compuestas las primeras canciones, pero no fue hasta finales de ese mismo año cuando, después de conocer a HERMOD, definitivamente pudieron grabar. Gracias a su ayuda y tras pasar a formar parte de la banda las canciones se completaron finalmente.
En Mayo de 2004 finalizó la grabación de su primera demo “MY FATHER WAS A WOLF” y el sello norteamericano Battle Hymn Records (http://www.battlehymnrecords.com) editó dicha demo en formato tape con caratula profesional.
En verano del 2006 JARLETH entró en la banda y cerró la actual formación. Durante el verano de ese año CARCHAROTH compuso nuevas canciones para su futuro album.
2007 es el año en el que la banda comienza a grabar las nuevas canciones para su CD. A finales de Junio, en las proximidades de la noche de Shamhain, “DESOLATED BATTLEFIELDS” fue definitivamente grabado. Seis temas que completan 35 minutos de puro Pagan Black Metal .
En octubre de 2007 CARCHAROTH ha firmado con BLACK TOWER PRODUCTIONS y, probablemente, a finales de este año el CD "DESOLATED BATTLEFIELDS" salga a la venta...
