Codoro Tiziano

Trumpet Player with experience in traditional jazz and also in modern rock/pop music.
Born 23rd of June 1983 I have been playing since I was 9 years old;I began to study music with Mauro Borghi and after that with Andrea Buson (Arena Verona Orchestra.). After a period as self-study I decided to improve my technical skill with Marco Fior (Bluebeaters, Avant orchestra and many more...) and later with Emilio Soana (well known international trumpet player.)
In 2004 I was called to join the Chicago Stompers jazz band ,a project made up of a group of guys all under 21 year old playing traditional jazz from the 20’s and 30’s black and white orchestras. Thanks to this experience I hit on Bubber Miley’s recording with Duke Ellington Orchestra and started to study the so called “jungle style”. I have had the opportunity of performing in prominent jazz clubs and festivals in the Milano’s Area: Brianza Open Spring Jazz Festival,Grand Hotel Doria Jazz Club ,Palace Visconti Grand Hotel, Jazz Club il Melo, Garbagnate Jazz Festival etc...). In 2006 I opened with Chicago Stompers in the Milano Film Festival with a concert at the international Strehler “Piccolo” Theater of Milano.
At the beginning of 2007 I was called on to become a member of Antani Project , 360°music cover band created by Star’s Garden Management Agency. This band is composed of well-known musician from several musical areas of expertise. .
Sometimes, I also collaborate with Circus and Circus acoustic Duo on stage as a "strange" special guest.
In 2007 I recorded with Chicago Stompers "..Too Late!!!", second studio album after "C.s Stomp" (2004), officially presented with a concert at Grand Hotel Doria in Milano. Is now avaible on www.chicagostompers.it .
I started to study with Andrea Giuffredi and I attended a masterclass with Andrea Tofanelli
During 2008 I had a very Intense Live activity playing in the most popoular clubs and festival with Antany Project and in several theatre and international Jazz Festival (Italy,Switzerland and UK) with Chicago Stompers.
In september 2008 i decided to left Antani Project Band and dedicate all my time to Chicago Stompers Band. I decided also to improve my musical and technical knowledge studying at Civica Accademia della Musica in Milano.
I've been called to perform in 2009 at Keswick International Jazz Festival and Whitley Bay Jazz Festival (UK) with the Chicago Stompers Jazz Band.
