ENGLISH - Giusy Consoli was born the 30th Day of May some years ago (never ask the age to a lady) Really extravagant V.I.P., she started her carrier about 15 years ago as animator in Villa Delle Rose in the Italian Riviera and as dj only few years ago and in few years she makes part of the most appreciated and famous Italian djs! Moreover, she is, together with Giuliano Bavutti, Art Director of LES FOLIES DE PIGALLE , famous tea dance born in 1995, that takes place every first and third Sunday of every month in the important Disco Adrenaline and in some other famous clubs, too.
She began to produce records in 2002, releasing her first production on Sound Division, "Mammagamma" is the cover of one of the unforgettable success of Alan Parson, released with a very refined technic, with modern sonorities and great atmospheres mixed with the best house music.
Then "More Than I had" and the cover "This Is Not A Love Song".
Her new release,"Persian Dream",is stylized with arabian sounds and electronic rhythms,same sounds that Giusy will put on during the summer ’07 all over the Europe from Cororicò in Riccione,through the best italian clubs,to Space in Ibiza.
ITALIANO - Per ammirarla,mentre manipola i vinili, con la stessa grazia che i musicisti riservano a chitarre e pianoforti, arrivano da ogni angolo d’Italia e d’Europa.
Le sue serate ’Folies de Pigalle’ a Reggio Emilia e Milano infatti, sono divenute un riferimento obbligato sulle rotte della dance più raffinata e seducente. Merito di un approccio molto ’fisico’ ai giradischi e di una passione, un amore per la musica che la accompagna in ogni momento della giornata.
Questa é la vita di Giusy Consoli, interamente dedicata alla ricerca dei suoni ’perfetti’, quelli che ogni ascoltatore vorrebbe come commento sonoro quando arriva il momento della ’festa’.
Dance e adrenalina, come nei solchi delle sue molteplici produzioni musicali, ad iniziare (per non citarle tutte) dal torrente di energia contenuto nei solchi di “This is Not a Love Song†(qualcuno ricorda Johnny Lydon ed i Public Image?), tutta l’elettricità coinvolgente del punk.. per arrivare a “Persian Dream†stileggiato da suoni arabi.. a far da contrappunto ai ritmi elettronici dei nostri sogni.. Gli stessi che Giusy metterà in scena durante i dj set dell’estate 2007 in tutta Europa dal Cocoricò di Riccione, passando per i migliori club italiani, fino allo Space di Ibiza.
