And besides, the wench is dead."

No-one, social recluse.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Music isn't really music anymore, so much as a pre-packed social identity. Music is an excuse to have our choice of clothing, of choice of friends, our behaviour, our political and social opinions and other material tastes dictated for us by peers and, ultimately, the way our chosen genre is depicted by the media. Im sure, in the case of the majority of MySpace users, you could learn from reading "Anything but rap" or "i hate dat goffik shit" in their music section than from any other section of their profile. Music, rather like poetry, should be judged by what it IS, not what it says, or who says it, or what they wear or whether it would be cool to admit that you like it to your friends.
