Sherri Martel was born on February 8, 1958 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She competed in the AWA, ECW, WCW, NWA, and the WWF/E. Her ringnames were Peggy Sue, Sensational Sherri, Sensuous Sherri, Sherri Martel, Sister Sherri, and Sensational Queen Sherri. She sadly died on June 15, 2007. Her cause of death was an accidental overdose with multiple drugs in her system, including high amounts of oxycodone. Sherri was one of the greatest female wrestlers and managers in the world.
