Robert Nesta Marley O.M., affectionately called Bob. It is also the grounds on which the Tuff Gong Recording Studio (where Bob spent most of his time) and Tuff Gong Record Shop were situated. The Museum portrays the life and achievements of this phenomenal Rastaman through artifacts, memorabilias, numerous writings and photographs, and other head turning momentos. Souvenirs of 'The Gong' can also be purchased in the Gift Shop. HOW DID IT ALL START ? THE HISTORY OF THE ROLLING PAPER!

In 1532 - Frenchman Pierre de Lacroix, began making paper after he had a momment of inspiration when, according to legend,he exchanged a rolling paper for a bottle of expensive French Champagne.

1660 - The Lacroix family began serious production of rolling papers,after realising the profitability !

1736 - Francois Lacroix purchased their own paper-mill & founded the Lacroix Rolling Paper company the same year!

1796 - The Lacroix Brand gets its 1st major deal with Napoleon himself. he grants the company a licence to produce Fine Rolling Papers for his soldiers, who were forced to roll with paper torn out of Books! UGH!

1860 - Pierre Lacroix finally perfects the formula for the Lacroix Brand of rolling papers.

1865 - The formula changes when tissue previously used in the papers is replaced with paper made from Rice.

1866 - This change in formula leads to the catchy Brand name of RIZLA+, ("Riz" french word for Rice, with La and a cross, representing the Lacroix Family name).

1891 - The Lacroix Family become so wealthy due to the sale of their RIZLA + Papers that they build a castle-like home which they call Chateau Leonide Lacroix.

1900 - RIZLA + go from strength to strength, spurred on by their immense success and new confidence,The Lacroix family send their product to Europe and USA.
