I've been writing songs for about 16 years now, playing guitar for 30 years or so, and have really tried to take on musical structure, and the '3 minute song"(Mine are usually 4 minutes or so...). I've intensly studied the best, while developing my own style. I love strong melodies, and thirst for "the better one" than what I wrote before. My downfall could be avoiding the self-promotion part with all the ego-driven henchmen with guitars that can stalk festivals and venues. Not much art there, although I thoroughly realize the merits of the game. From becoming the "evil ice cream man" (not my fault), to playing in Copenhagen for a month (supermodel Helena Christiansen asked for my number there!...I know, I know...), to receiving a one hundred dollar bill from Neil Young, my first time busking in the streets of Boulder, CO., I've had a colorful life so far. Today, you can find me on someone's rooftop, owner of "Asheville Chimney" in N.C. And no, I don't wear the chimney sweep hat, but I used to, and still have it. By the way, did you know that it is good luck to buy a song from a sweep?!My new cd, "Living Sideways", is being released soon, a fully produced collection of ten songs.Quote: Keller Williams- "Great songwriting with super solid singing and playing that is both style and cool"
