About Me

This is the official page for KGee music. Born, Kenneth Mitchell Gray, KGee has always been student of music. Being the youngest of three, this innovative grew up a 80's baby so he had the privelege to grow up listening to various old school hip hop artists like Rakim, KRS One, Big Daddy Kane, Brand Nubian, Domino, Salt N Pepa, and the list goes on. With a quite unique, conversational approach to the mic, KGee presents ghetto hymns in which he uses to uplift his people...and that's people of all ages and colors, his music is made for the anyone who appreciates good music. At East Carolina University is where Kenneth spent a lot of time in the studio with college friends C.O. and Justyncredible, learning and studying the in and outs of producing music and creating songs. This was right up Kenneth's alley, being in control and having complete say so. He felt that the only way a artist could become successful was to keep music personal and having a voice in their music. This is the reason for his transition to the producer side, to give artist freedom. So the idea of running his own label came to him and he came up with Home Team Entertainment. He has so much passion and love for his hometown and home state that he thought it was time that North Carolina was represented the right way.Digable Planets-Cool like datNas-Nas is likeTupac-Holla if you hear me
