What to say about me... I'm a guy named Nick. Known to some as "The Bandit" for reasons back in the day. I'm also known as "Yak" to my down ass niggas that I kick it with. I'm known as "Nick Yak Beats" throughout the industry. I'm a CITY BOY born and raised! I WOULDN'T CALL ANYWHERE ELSE HOME! You could've caught me around the city at one point or another cause I used to jump around a lot where I kicked it and who I kicked it with. Went to elementary and middle school in Excelsior District and high school in HP. Basically grew up in the Geneva/Mission Street area. Used to write back in middle school, then switched it to bboying throughout high school, then got into DJ'ing at 19. Been doing the club thing since I was barely 18. In the future, I want to go into the music industry after I get bored of just DJ'ing. I eventually want to build my own sound recording studio and start producing. So all you artists, watch out for me in the future! I feel I already lived most of my life and went through a lot of shit that some folks wouldn't have encountered in a lifetime, BUT I wouldn't have life any other way if I started over again.
