Head-Full

About Me

Forming in their hometown of Bury St Edmunds in late 2007, Head-Full soon began getting regular gigs where they soon formed a reputation for being packed full of funk and energy – by 2008 they had taken the local battle of the bands, BurySOUND, by storm winning the ’08 title.
In January 2009 they headlined the critically acclaimed and sold out event, ‘UV Bury’, gaining even more local interest for their wild performance. By the end of February they had finished recording at The Shrubbery Studios for their forthcoming releases. Head-Full also gained the attention of the mainstream venue, The Junction (Cambridge), who gave them a slot to perform alongside d.i.y-indie legends ‘The Kabeedies’ in April.
May saw them headlining the BurySOUND 09 launch with guest acts, Alloy Ark, The Empires, & DJ Reuben Kemp (Ex-Thee Vicars), which was featured in Maddog Magazines June edition alongside an interview with Dan (guitarist) & Chloe (drummer).
2009 looks to be an exciting year; with Head-Full releasing their debut 6-track EP, Losing Grip, in the next few months awaiting artwork from the talented Canadian funk-artist, ‘Benj E Funk’ .
