Steam is one of the hottest up-and-coming rappers you can find on Myspace. His deep lyrics are carefully mastered and are sure to be as hot as steam on every track. He recently teamed up with issAngel to produce some fire in the studio! Steam's roots began is southern Florida where he began to learn from the school of "hard knocks". Then moving to Pittsburgh, PA during High School, he began getting interested in writing and spitting lyrics with schoolmate, Chance Kins. The duo recorded a couple of tapes and began selling them to classmates and whoever would buy them wherever they went. Steam then went to college near Pittsburgh where he had a studio in his dorm room, and recorded many freestyle sessions with talented fellow classmates for two years before joining the Army. After being in the army 3 years, and putting his rap career on hold, he went back to College in Augusta, GA, where he really got back into the game, and reconnected with his Dirty South Roots. He became an accomplished entrepreneur and made a lot of business connections. After he graduated from Augusta State University, Steam profited greatly by selling his business he had built from the ground up. The military life then took him to Germany where be began further pursuing a career in Hip-Hop. While in Germany he was encouraged by interactions with such up-and-coming stars as Lioness, and West Coast Phenom "Anjel" from LA. He then began producing beats and recording with IssAngel and his lyrical wizardry began to shine. Now, he is hard at work in the studio in his home, as well as other producer's studios, compiling the most anticipated alblum of 2007/2008.
