About Me

drummer and percussionist; MA (York, UK), Ba (A.P.Th. and S.C.Th, Greece:); diploma (S. C.Th., class of Mr Vasiliadis and studies in composition with Mr Siembis). First drumset lessons with my brother, Thanos; then with Mr Nikos Sidirokastritis in Athens. Masterclasses with Ron Savage, Kenwood Dennard, Bob Tamagni, Jeff Boudreaux and Yorgos Dimitriadis, the late Kostas Kouvides, Christos Yermenoglou. Masterclasses focusing on percussion led by Mr Jan Pustjens, Tatiana Koleva, Dimitris Desyllas, Damien Harron, Massimo Pastore. Masterclasses of improvisation with Mal Waldron, music theory with Michalis Traulos, jazz history with Dimos Dimitriadis, jazz with George Kontrafouris, Marc Abrams and Ville Pynssi, Julian Argüelles. Has released two CD's with The Prefabricated Quartet )tpq(. Had the honour to play with John Taylor. ..
