A Brief History
Hussie were born sometime in the late ninties by school friends Nick and Joe in South East London, During this time the band went through a few names and various members until the lineup settled when Richard joined the band in early 2000.
Hussie spent the next few years writing songs and reletlessly honing their live show , the band made their debut at the Camden Underworld in the June of 2001.
The Band recorded two 3 tracks demos at Alsaka Studios in Waterloo, which were distributed via the internet for free and given away at shows, this resulted in a rapidly growing number of fans.
A Departure
Richard reluctantly left the band in the summer of 2002 due to conflicting lifestyle commitments, the remaining members of Hussie struggled to find a replacement and called it a day a short time afterwards..
The End?
Although the band remain good friends, it's highly unlikely that they will ever perform as Hussie again, we have uploaded the songs from the 2nd demo that were recorded for you to listen to, and for us to remember the fun times we had rehearsing, recording and playing for you in the smelly venues we rocked.
Hussie 2007?
Nick currently lives in Australia, and is working on new material, Joe still lives in south London and drives boats around on the river thames. Richard left London and became a live sound engineer, and now helps other bands to get their music heard.
