The Mannville Arms - music pub

About Me

The Mannville Arms is an independent public house, which is situated opposite the site of Bradford College. Although it is fairly close to the West End area of Bradford - an area which is currently associated with trendy pop/dance oriented bars and chain pubs (and the inevitable crowds that they attract), The Mannville stands defiantly on its own, catering for a more open-minded rock and alternative clientele.

We are always on the lookout for fresh and exciting original music and we are proud to host a whole plethora of styles.

If you would like to play on on of our weekend gig slots, then please feel free to get in touch via this page or e-mail:

Band Members: Here at The Mannville Arms we aim to provide an eclectic roster of entertainment. Regular events at The Mannville include:

Live music every Saturday night - always on the lookout for new bands, you can expect to hear musicians playing original material. We aim to take the "different every time" attitude, so if the band one week aren't to your tastes, then don't worry - there will hopefully be something more to your liking in the near future.

Starting this April, we have a brand new night. "The Friday Sound" will bring you some of the best up and coming young bands from all over the UK, as-well as some firm Mannville favourites.

Every Thursday, we have a night called "Bad Moon Rising", where DJ Howard plays an eclectic mix of goth, industrial, punk and dark alternative music. He usually has something to suit most tastes and is a great buildup to any weekend.

Every Sunday we have "On Bloody Sunday" - a jam session for those who like their music rocking. All musicians are welcome to come along and have a go.

ALL events are FREE entry.

For those times when there is no entertainment on, we have a great jukebox which caters for most tastes and are always open to suggestions if you would like something adding. We are also hoping to start loading up some of the spaces with unsigned talent so if you drop us a CD in, you might just see some of your tracks cropping up.

Michael, Billy and the team would like to extend a warm welcome to one and all.
Influences: Anybody who has anything to say, anybody who has a bit of character and anybody who enjoys something different from the usual plastic lifeless bars which are full of plastic lifeless people!
Sounds Like: The finest rock and alternative friendly pub in the Bradford and West Yorkshire area and also Bradford's premier independent student pub. We play everything from indie to heavy metal and everything between and beyond. Always on the lookout to accomodate new and interesting music and we pride ourselves on our diversity. Everybody is welcome in The Mannville Arms!

THE LANDLORD

Below are two windows, the first if you press play will show you a live audio/video feed from the pub and whatever bands we have playing at that time. If there are no live bands then there should be pre-recorded bands playing. I have only just implemented this and it's having a few teething problems, hopefully all sorted out for those of you who want to watch STANFEST. Below the video window is a chat window, signing up is quick, painless and free, chat away with each other whilst watching the vids or a live gig!!
