Every now and then life feels so overwhelming that we fail to see the entire picture and instead we focus on the smallest details. When things don’t go the way we expect them to, we grow weary of ourselves and begin doubting what we believe is right. But in all honesty, life is not difficult. We only make it seem so because we fail to accept the simplicity of it all. It’s as simple as taking things in stride and learning from your mistakes. Sometimes you’ll fall off and hit the dirt pretty hard, but that only means you’ll get up just as fast to shake it off. When someone cares enough to tell you to stop being so hard on yourself, take their advice. But when someone underestimates you and says “no, you can’t” you can hold your head up high and say “yes, I can.”
