About Me
Andy Galindo was born October 19, 1989 in Dumas, Tx. He lived in Dumas for approximately 9 years. He then moved to Guymon, OK, where he met most of his friends. He was quite the shy person. He really never took the time to make friends... I guess you can say friends came to him. As he grew older and started thinking about his life, he met his best friend Tijh Slaughter. Tijh was new to Guymon when they met. He had moved from Lubbock, Texas. As they grew closer as friends Tijh always talked about rapping and making music. Andy was inspired one day by his other friend Shane Fallon. At this point, Shane showed Andy what the program Fruity Loops was. Shane showed him the basices on how to start making beats and so forth. As time went by, Andy kept his head on trying to make beats. He always told everyone, "Watch, I bet I'll make a clean ass beat sometime." Everyone just kinda laughed and said, "Alright we'll see." As time kept going by, Andy became pretty good at making beats. He even shocked his friend Shane when he showed him one of his best beats. One day though, Tijh and Andy were cruising in his car, and he had one of his beats on the cd. His friend, as always, just started freestyling on it. Andy thought it was all fun and games, so he said, "Why not," and started freestyling himself. Tijh kind of stopped and looked at him then said, "You can rap?" Andy was embarrassed and didn't say anything. Since that day Andy made a love for music. He started looking around on how to make a simple recording studio. As always, here comes his friend Shane explaining everything. Following this, Andy and Tijh gave themselves their names: Dunny and Teezy. They recorded their very first song titled, "Texas Ballas." They kept recording and making songs (and what not). Later they met with Bobby Carter, who was originally from Dallas, Texas. (Oak Cliff, what's up?). He was by far the best out of the three of them (i.e., Andy, TJ and Bobby). Then they met with a friend of Bobby's, named Tipp. He also was from Dallas. All four of them had a passion for music. As time went on their beats got better. They decided to form a group with all four of them. They were called the "3rd Coast Rydaz," since all four of them were from Texas. That was pretty much it. Andy made the beat for there first hit single of the group called, "Screens Hang." Everyone loved that song. They had back to back hits. As time passed, some started slacking, and Andy was too focused on his music that he decided to go solo. He ended up recording his solo hit single titled, "Let's Ride," that had R&B and Hip-Hop swagger on it. He kept giving his music 100%. He didn't make time for anybody. He stayed up all night working on beats and writting to songs. Time flew by, and without knowing, Dunny had been doing music for about a year now. He really started getting into his singing more so than rapping. He eventually got signed to a label in Dallas called, "SSC MUSIK GROUP." They helped him with all they could as far as promos, graphics, and radio plays.
