Amichay Matyas was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1982. Amichay started listening to his father’s collection of Soul and Funk at a very early age. His love for music grew stronger and stronger once he got acquainted with House Music at the age of 15. Amichay plays like the person he is - with soul and integrity. Despite the fact the music he plays for the most part is labeled "House Musicâ€, his sets won't be cornered into one category. He explored and learned the unique and spiritual quality House music holds inside. Since then, his sets have developed into a personal and energetic journey made up of all types of music he loves and is moved by: be it Soulful, Latin Jazz, Afro Beats, or Techy flavors.Amichay first club experience was at a local venue in Tel Aviv called AYS. The party, “Fresh Fruit†featured a combination of DJs and live musicians. Amichay began to collect music and worked hard to develop his craft. He landed his first DJ gig in his mid-teens due to a demo he presented to the promoter of the club. His DJ career started to move forward from that day on.In a short period of time, Amichay has played at every major House venue in Israel. He held a residency at Maxim and “Saturday Live†at Anna. He has also been featured at Haoman 17 and “Snob†at Denzel, He has made several international guest appearances abroad, playing in Paris' for a well respected Sounds-Up party at Barramundi alongside Franck Roger (Real Tone Records/ MAW Records / Needs) and Alex from Tokyo (Tokyo Black Star / Yellow /Sonar Kollevktiv). Just recently he entertained at Portugal’s most acclaimed house party “Deep groove†and also several NYC appearances. In between his busy schedule, he shares his style and vibes weekly on Cyberjamz.com Internet Radio.Amichay’s main musical inspirations are the sounds of some of the biggest and greatest artists like Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, George Benson, and Roy Ayers. He was also influenced while researching the history of House Music and learning about legendary DJs like Larry Levan, Ron Hardy, David Mancuso and Masters at Work.

Every Hip-Hop artist has a sob story explaining their personal background. This time were going make an exception. Sev's pops wasn't in and out of his life and his mom wasn't a drug addict. The streets didn't raise him, but in a sense they baby sat him. He (INSERT GOVERNMENT NAME HERE) was born January 21, 1982 in New York NY, but raised a majority of his life in the South Bronx. Music has always been a major part of Sev's life at a very early age. At the age of 5, He was a child model who appeared numerous amounts of times on the PBS children's show Sesame Street, singing with puppets. (Embarrassing, but. He gotta keep it real) At the age of eleven Sev started to dabble in the field of solo vocal performances. Realizing his newly found talent, his mother, Kat Ayala entered him into Harbor School of performing arts junior high school in Manhattan. Sev studied Choir and Academics for three years. Some of the places he performed included Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, and Rockefeller Center as well as many other locations around the New York City area. During his senior year, he was selected for an international tour to represent his school. During his European exploration, Sev managed to visit, Verona, Naples, Venice, Palermo, Rome, Vatican City and the island of Sicily. Not bad for a 14 yr. old Puerto Rican kid from the South Bronx. Fearing Sev would get pulled into the streets, his parents decided to move to an alternate dimension only known to the world as the suburbs. Exit the hood and enter the woods. Sev started taking Hip-Hop lyricism seriously at the age of 15. From the start his approach was always different and looked upon as individually unique. He prefers to write about personal experiences oppose to things he saw or heard, unlike many lyricist. Sev would like to share those experiences graphically with the world in the form of music because to him Hip-Hop is the ultimate form of self expression. Since 2003 he has recorded periodically at In House Studios located in the farthest depths of the Boondocks imaginable. His disco includes, "20 One Gun Salute" featuring Mic Cassio, "Cant Hold a Match", "Fifty/50", "Don't Wanna Go Back", "Marathon Mouth" and Kat's favorite, "Biblical Terms". He also recently co produced with an assortment of talent, "Hood to the Woods".
A passion for words, music and dance have driven this Lawrence, Massachusetts native's existence since her earliest childhood memories. Reciting the poetry of Robert Frost over local radio airwaves at age 11 was the beginning of her very own writing and dream to perform her works. The combination of inspiring life lessons and her desire to share through poetry their teachings, have matured Liza into a spoken word poet/performer, songwriter and singer. For her love for underground dance culture and music, she also promotes events as a member of the Boston House Music Coalition, collects and plays music and loves to dance through the end of the night.Liza's first Boston appearance back in 2002 at The Milky Way exposed her to the stage and interaction with an audience. Week after week and piece after piece familiarized Liza's work to the audience and allowed Liza to grow as a performer.Liza traveled to Rhode Island to perform for Bradford James (SEED Recordings) at his then weekly event. That appearance led to the recording of "Moment of Truth" and "Chiva's Call" (Utopia Records) as well as "Luv Me" (SEED Recordings). Together, they traveled to Montreal to showcase their collaborations and also worked together on Netmusique's weekly internet show, "Samoset Sessions."Liza has also written for and performed on songs produced by Paul Foley of Warm Bodies (Boston) and The Shadowkings (Boston). Of the latter's collaborative efforts, "Never Thought" was signed by Women On Wax Recordings and Liza was invited to debut the single at a W.O.W. party during Detroit's Music Festival in 2007.Liza and The Shadowkings recently performed their latest work, "Follow Your Heart" (featuring Dee Lavender) at one of Boston's most beloved events, Utopia Sundays with DJ Bruno.Further hopes of this writer is to publish a book of pieces intended for people of both sexes and all ages who have struggled in all forms of relationships and have survived. "A strong will to survive" drives her inspiration, as Liza understands that no one is ever alone and everyone has a Friend. With everlasting passion, talent and experience, this poet/singer/songwriter/lover of music and dance is ready to offer more through words, melodies and love.
