The Speakeasy Studio will be available as band practice space, including audio and video recording capabilities, as well as offering space for private events such as CD release parties, birthday parties, graduation parties, etc. Space is also available for photography shoots, art showings, cocktail parties, etc. Our staff is fully capable regarding audio and visual engineering, as well as an on site security on site at all times.
RENTAL RATES:
room (0-30 patrons): $300.00
(30-60 patrons): $400.00
(60+ patrons) : $550.00
PA: $100-$300
lighting: $500-$1000
video: $100 per projector (up to 3) + $50 tech fee
***PARTY PACKAGE DEAL*** includes: room, PA, lighting, video, and staff for $1100
band practice space: $75 weekly with $300 deposit
photo shoots: $150 (room only) - $500 (lighting included)
***NOW BOOKING: bachelor/bachelorette party packages***

History: The building itself was constructed in 1900, the stage and concert area is all original excluding our personal electrical modifications made to accomadate audio and visual production. Originally used in the the days of prohibition as...guess....a SPEAKEASY and yes, a burlesque house. We are sticking to tradition using this space for artistic and musical development specifically catering to local artists trying to get a leg up on the biz.
Keep your eyes open, might catcha glimpse of the previous spirits, they stop by and make sure everything is cool from time to time. no need to be alarmed, but...keep the respect up.
as many of you may know VAST and Basis have been working the local music scene in SW Ohio for years now, and you can be confident that only a quality experience will be had by this new service offered to local artists and like bohemians.
