According to Juice, “It all started joke rapping with the homie’s, as a young child, I would always win and they would tell me to battle some of the local rappers on a more serious level.â€Juice perfected his rhyming skills growing up by taking every opportunity to freestyle battle other MC’s and rapping to virtually anyone who was a willing audience. He was also a member of a local St. Louis rap group named Young High Rollaz (Y.H.R.). This laid the platform for Juice to continue his career as an MC. According to Juice, “Being solo has made me stronger, and helped me gain knowledge of the game.†At age 14 Juice found a chance in entering battles and winning, which he was then labeled one of the best MC’s in the city, and created a street buzz for him self.Ladies adore his charming sense of humor and men relate to his straight to the point lyrics.
