Hi folks!
This is a music/personal site about me, Johnny Johansson. I created this site cause I wanted to do a musicpage with the bands that I've been a member in through the years. And now it's finally done… HURRAY!
Music info:
I picked up my first instrument around 1993/94 and started to play the bass. As many youngsters, I started to play the same old Metallica songs that everybody played in their early days. I learned the bass pretty fast and it developed to more brutal music such as thrash and deathmetal. For me to start playing death/thrash came very naturally as I am born in Gothenburg (metal capital of Sweden) and in my teen years bands like At The Gates, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity etc. were the biggest and most influences for me. The bands that I played with was Butchery and Rapture .
A few years later in 1998 I wanted to write music that was closest to me, and I also began to play the guitar at the same time. The music I wanted to write was heavy metal. Said and done Disdain was born. This is the only band I am focusing on right now, CLICK HERE for more information.
In the year 2000 I got recommended to a band called United Fools , they were in search of a bassplayer. I liked the music and joined them 1 month before the recording of the debut album. At this time I had to quit Butchery and Rapture because I wanted to focus more on Disdain and United Fools . United Fools debut album was released in 2002.
But for me, Disdain always has been the number one priority, and I quit United Fools in 2003 to focus on my own music. More to come…

Personal info:
I was born 1981 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Mother from Argentina and father from Sweden, perfect mix and that’s why I got the looks… HAHA!
I have an older sister, a twin brother, another sister and a kid brother. One big happy family.
I guess I had a normal upbringing… no scars from that!
At the moment I am working at Volvo – Special Vehicle Service.
On my spare time I play music and go fishing as often as I can.
And… 1st of September 2007 I got married to my lovely Persian wife MOJO . And the plans are that we will produce little Johnnys :).
