Haim Mazar is a 24-year-old composer/pianist from Israel, currently located in Boston Massachusetts where he recently received his BA degree from Berklee College of Music, graduating Summa Cum Laude majoring in Film Scoring.
Haim discovered music at the age of 5 with extensive classical piano training at the Givataim music conservatory in Israel from which he graduated with honors. At the age of 18 Haim graduated with honors from the music program in Katzanelson high school in Israel and continued his musical career as the Musical Director for the military bands in the Israeli army. Haim attended Rimon school of music in Israel for one year and at the age of 22 moved to Boston in order to complete his college degree at Berklee College of Music. While attending Berklee, Haim had won many awards for outstanding musical achievements and has been involved with many high profile projects as a composer, conductor, arranger and pianist around the US, including performances and TV appearances with Christopher Guest, Gloria Estefan, Jeffery Osborn and the "Edge" (U2 Guitarist). In may 2008 Haim is scheduled to move to Los Angeles where he wants to further develop his musical career as a Film Composer in Hollywood.
