Considered to be Orlando's best kept secret, this production team consistently creates hits no matter what genre. Whether it's Rap/Hip-Hop, R&B, or Rock each producer brings a different creative edge to the table that when fused together takes music to a totally different level. Before joining forces in 2003, the producers were involved with their own solo projects with DA DEACON working with Take Ova Records and OZ running A-list Productions. After meeting in 2001, the two eventually decided to team up to make a super producer powerhouse. Since then the two of them have worked with many artists such as Platinum artist N.O.R.E. , Grammy winning 3-6 Mafia, Bun B, Pitbull, Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, and Brisco to name a few. Currently, they are working with many local artists in Florida with their main focus on J-RU$$, POPOV, CASH CHRIS and R&B phenomenons MICHAEL STOKES & CHARLES REED.
OZ n Da Deacon own and operate their own studio, appropriately named "The Kitchen", based in Orlando.. This is where most all Tracks are produced and Songs are recorded and mixed by them. Within the past year Oz N Da Deacon produced a number of smash hits that were released on individual projects from the "3 Kingz" Mixtape featuring Cash Chris, J-RU$$, and Popov to the hit single "I Like Dat" by Cash Chris featuring Rick Ross. In 2008, OZ N Da Deacon teamed up with BlokMovaz Entertainment (www.blokmovaz.com) and gained international notoriety from their production of Popov's hit single "I'm Da Man of My City". With some of the best talent on their roster, OZ N DA DEACON will not only bring a new sound to music, but will also maintain longevity in an industry that is very competitive and constantly changing.
On a social level OZ n Da Deacon have also started the Above the Stars Foundation. This is a non-profit charity aimed at creating a music enrichment program for the local high schools. The purpose of the program will to educate the students about the Music Industry and all aspects of it. The program is set for the beginning of the Fall Semester and will run the course of the year. Currently OZ n Da Deacon have started an artist development company called ATS Music Group (Above The Stars). The ATS Music Groups' chief purpose is to create the next headliner act. This will involve everything from the basics including Music, Production, Image, Promotion, Business, Management, and everything necessary to prepare the Artist for the Music Industry.
