Talented singer-songwriter Anthony O’Brien first had the idea to form a band back in 2004 at the age of 19. After a couple of unsuccessful incarnations and never the one to be deterred, Ant was introduced to guitarist Danny Heaton, age 21, drummer Jimmy Foster, age 19 and bassist Adrian McIntyre, age 18 and within a couple of practice sessions, it was obvious that this was the line-up Ant had always been looking for.
In September 2007 ‘Inside View’ finally stepped out of the shadows, showcasing songs built around breathtaking vocal harmonies, anthemic choruses and outstanding guitar melodies. Following several months of heavy rehearsals, the band headed straight into the recording studio to record ‘Picture Perfect’, their debut 4 track E.P. Following rave reviews the band went on tour, clocking up an impressive 40 plus performances in little over 6 months. While still working the day jobs, and playing the gigs at night, new material was always being produced and in December 2008 the band re-united with record producer John Kettle to record their follow up E.P. ‘Underneath the Stars’.
In January 2009 the band were contacted by elev8artists management with a view to managing them, and after successful negotiations the band were signed to a multi-year contract and have since gone on to appear on the BBC as well as local radio, featured on some high profile gigs including supporting The Coronas at the now famous Ruby Lounge, and are being lined up for several big summer festivals. What’s more, Inside View have now picked up quite a following in the USA. After featuring on several radio stations out there, and after recently being featured as band of the week on U-N-U Radio in Los Angeles, the band were contacted by music placement agency Talent & Terms and without hesitation were signed to a deal for their music to appear on US TV, advertisements and movies.
Having built up a rapidly increasing fanbase, the Wigan-based band are now currently performing at venues across the UK, showcasing songs built around breathtaking vocal harmonies, anthemic choruses and outstanding guitar melodies.
